The recommended torque for most models is 15-22N · m, while some models such as the Volkswagen EA888 engine require a torque of 22N · m. Excessive tightening may cause the sealing ring to deform and leak oil, while insufficient tightening may cause the filter to loosen. After installation, the engine needs to be started and run at idle speed for 3-5 minutes, observing whether there is leakage at the filter interface and oil drain bolt, and checking whether the oil level on the dipstick is within the standard range. If oil leakage or abnormal liquid level is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and the filter should be re tightened or the oil should be replenished to ensure the normal operation of the lubrication system.
