Gearbox spare parts oil filter element
Introduction to Gearbox Spare Parts Oil Filter Cartridge
The gearbox oil filter element is the core filtering component in the lubrication system, designed specifically to remove impurities from the gearbox lubricating oil. Its core structure adopts multi-layer filter materials, such as imported high-precision filter paper or stainless steel metal mesh, with a filtration accuracy of 0.1 μ m to 60 μ m, which can effectively intercept pollutants such as metal debris, oxidized gum, moisture, and dust. The filter end cap is sealed with hot melt adhesive technology to ensure no leakage risk, and the joint adopts internationally recognized 222 type, 226 type or flat mouth design, with strong adaptability. Some high-end filter elements also integrate one-way valves and bypass valves, which can automatically adjust the direction of lubricating oil flow during low-temperature start-up or abnormal oil pressure, avoiding filter clogging and equipment dry grinding. Taking wind power gearbox as an example, its main filter element often adopts a dual precision design, with a coarse filter layer (25 μ m) filtering out large particle impurities and a fine filter layer (10 μ m) intercepting small pollutants to ensure that the cleanliness of the lubricating oil meets the ISO 4406 standard.

Characteristics of gearbox oil filter element
The core advantage of this filter element lies in the balance between efficient filtration and long lifespan. The porosity of its filter material can reach 28% -50%, with uniform pore size distribution, which can ensure high flow permeability and maintain low flow resistance, reducing energy consumption of the gearbox. Taking stainless steel filter cartridges as an example, they have excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand harsh media such as sulfur-containing gases and acid-base solutions, making them suitable for corrosive environments such as offshore wind power and chemical machinery. In addition, the regeneration performance of the filter element is outstanding. After backwashing or ultrasonic cleaning, the filtration efficiency can be restored to over 90% of its initial state, reducing replacement costs. Some products also use strong magnetic adsorption technology to additionally filter out ferromagnetic particles, filling the gap of traditional filter materials in filtering metal particles and extending the service life of key components such as gearbox bearings and gears.

Application scenarios of gearbox oil filter element
This filter element is widely used in high load, high-precision gearbox scenarios. In the field of wind power, as the core component of the main transmission chain lubrication system, it needs to work stably under extreme temperature differences of -40 ℃ to 80 ℃, filter metal debris and oxidation products generated by high-speed rotation of the wind turbine gearbox, and prevent gear pitting corrosion, bearing fatigue and other faults caused by lubricant degradation. In industrial machinery such as metallurgical rolling mills, mining crushers, etc., the filter element needs to withstand high impact loads and dust pollution. Its high-strength filter material and sealing structure can ensure continuous operation for more than 2000 hours without leakage. In addition, in scenarios such as ship gearboxes and rail transit transmission systems, the salt spray resistance and vibration resistance characteristics of the filter element are equally critical, which can avoid damage to the filter element caused by seawater erosion or mechanical vibration, ensuring long-term reliable operation of the equipment.
